UKCCF Advisor of the Month Competition Terms & Conditions
The UKCCF Advisor of the Month Competition (the “Competition”) is a competition open to all Contact Centre and Customer Service employees resident in the United Kingdom or Ireland, aged 18 years or older.
The Competition will be offered by The UK Contact Centre Forum Ltd (UKCCF, 10 Pigott Road, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG40 1PY. Company registration no: 07009465) (together with UKCCF and other persons professionally connected to this Competition, the “Partners”).
All other employees of UKCCF, sponsors, and their media partners or their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected to this Competition are not considered Potential Entrants and are ineligible to enter the Competition.
Applications from competition agents, third parties, organised groups or automated entries will not be accepted.
UKCCF makes no warranty or representation as to the accuracy of the information provided on the competition website and assumes no liability for any errors or omissions in the content of the competition website.
- HOW TO ENTER:
All contact centre and Customer Services team leaders, supervisors, managers and directors can nominate members of their advisor team by submitting a nomination HERE All completed entry forms must be submitted via the online form HERE . Entries can only be made via the online entry form.
A UK or Irish contact centre or customer services supervisor, manager or director can submit multiple entries for their advisors each month for the competition duration via a separate entry form per advisor.
The completed entry form must capture why the contact centre or customer services supervisor, manager or director believes the individual advisor should win Special Advisor of the Month by highlighting their skills and/or commitment to their job role; these can be things like examples of quality customer service, expertise, empathy, teamwork, productivity, results, passion and/or dedication.
All sections of the entry form must be completed in full.
All entries must be provided by a contact centre or customer services supervisor, manager or director individual or team from a registered contact centre within the UK or Ireland.
Each nominator warrants that he/she has full power, right and authority to submit the entry/entries and that it does not infringe any intellectual property rights of any third party and each nominator agrees to release the Partners from any and all liability of any kind arising out of or in connection with the submission of an entry.
All entries will be initially judged by the UKCCF, with six entries per month shortlisted for a second round of judging, where nominees will present to a small group of judges from UKCCF and their Partners, in a ten minutes video call, to elaborate on their entry and answer any questions arising from the judges.
- COMPETITION OPENING DATES:
The Competition begins at 9am on 1st January 2019 and ends at midnight on Friday 31st January 2020 (the “Competition Open Dates”). Any entries received after midnight on Friday 31st January 2020 will not be counted and will be disqualified.
Monthly entries are open from 9am on 1st until midnight on 24th of every month. All entries will be subject to first and second stage judging between the 24th – 28th of every month. Winners will be announced on the 28th of every month.
The Promoter reserves the right to terminate the Competition at any time during the Competition Opening Dates for whatever reason, including if any technical issues, falsifying of entries or other unforeseen issues are found to compromise the integrity of the Competition.
UKCCF is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website or other failures or damage of any kind to the extent that this prevents the participant from or otherwise obstructs him/her in participating in the Competition.
UKCCF accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any nominator resulting from entering this Competition or by the nominees acceptance of the prize or any damage to any nominator’s or other person’s computer or mobile phone equipment as a consequence of downloading any material relating to the Competition.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any nominator or nominee in the event that it believes that their submission, in the sole discretion of the Promoter, is negative or unethical in nature or in any other way conflicts with the policies or image of the Promoter.
- DETERMINATION OF WINNER:
There will be one first prize, one second prize and one third prize winner each month for twelve months during the Competition Opening Dates.
The first, second and third prize winners will be judged from all of the entries received during between the 1st – 24th of the month in which the entry was received, for each month within the Competition Open Dates. The first, second and third prize winners will be the advisors who are selected by the judging panel in its sole discretion, based on the entry forms received. The judging panel is made up of representatives from UKCCF and its Partners. All first, second and third prize winners per month will be notified in writing on the 28th of the month in which their entry was received. Winners details will be announced in Contact Centre Monthly.
All decisions made by the judging panel will be final and binding and no correspondence with the entrants will be entered into, other than announcements of the winners as set out above.
The Promoter reserves the right to re-draw the monthly first, second and/or third prize winner if they cannot be contacted within a reasonable period of time (to be established at the Promoter’s sole discretion) and the Promoter has the right to disqualify any nominator or nominee, or select an alternative winner in the event that it believes that any entry has contravened these Terms and Conditions.
Each month there is a first, second and third prize available, consisting of:
- 1st place prize: £150 High Street voucher and a sponsor donated prize
- 2nd place prize: £100 High Street voucher and a sponsor donated prize
- 3rd place prize: £50 High Street voucher and a sponsor donated prize
Prize items will not be substituted with different prizes at the winners’ request. Prizes are not transferable and there is no cash alternative available.
Prizes will be awarded after winners have received written notification from the Promoter and have confirmed in writing their preferred delivery address. Prizes will be despatched up to 10 working days from receipt of confirmed delivery address.
The Promoter reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of an equal value without notice should any of the abovementioned prizes no longer be available.
Each nominator and nominee agrees that the Partners are not responsible for any and all losses, damages, rights or claims in connection with the Competition or the nominator and nominee use of any prize, including but not limited to personal injury, death and property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
- INTELLECTUAL PROPERT RIGHTS:
All entries submitted by the nominator and nominee, including any intellectual property rights connected thereto, shall become the property of the Promoter upon receipt of submission.
Each nominator and nominee accepts that, by submission of its entry(-ies), the Partners will have the right, without payment or permission, to use the nominator and nominee submissions, including name(s), photograph(s), likeness, biography(-ies), written, visual, voice and/or video submission(s), as part of each Partners’ advertising, publicity or other activities, whether in the form of PR, brochures, banner ads or web, relating to this Competition or identical or similar competitions organised by UKCCF in the future. The Partners may exploit all or part of the entrant’s submissions in any manner and on any media as deemed appropriate or necessary by UKCCF in relation to the abovementioned activities.
UKCCF reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions (the “Terms & Conditions”) in its sole discretion at any time. Entrants will be bound by any such revisions to the Terms & Conditions.
By submitting their entries, all nominators and nominees will be deemed to have fully accepted and will be bound by these Terms & Conditions and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Partners for the purposes of the administration of the Competition and any other purposes to which the nominator and nominee has accepted. All entry instructions form part of these Terms & Conditions.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law, without regard to the conflicts of law provisions thereof, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
